Storm Fitness & Leisure is actively recruiting enthusiastic individuals to supervise a wide range of sports activities for children aged 5-14. This exciting opportunity includes overseeing school holiday sports and hosting sports parties on Fridays, Saturdays, or Sundays. Flexibility and enthusiasm are highly desired qualities in candidates.

Salary: Hourly rate £5.47 - £10.80ph

JOB OVERVIEW

Storm Fitness & Leisure is looking to recruit flexible, enthusiastic people to join their team.  The role will include supervising a variety of sporting activities for children aged 5-14 years during the school holidays and sports parties on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday.  On occasion we may need cover during the evening or weekend to assist staff setting up equipment and assisting the duty manager to ensure the centre is a safe & friendly environment for our customers.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills. A confident and professional approach when dealing with children, staff and customers is required.

Knowledge of sporting activities and working with children would be an advantage.

An understanding of Safeguarding including Prevent and Keeping Children Safe in Education legislation will also be required.

This role is considered exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the amendments to the Exceptions Order 1975, 2013 and 2020.
