Reporting Assistant - SQL

USP College are looking to recruit a Reporting Assistant to ensure stakeholders are provided with comprehensive, reliable, and up to date information and reporting services.

Salary: £28,021 - £31,543  

Location: Cross Campus between our bright modern campus in Benfleet & historic campus in Grays.

Hours:  37 hours per week. 52 weeks a year

Job Overview:

To ensure stakeholders are provided with comprehensive, reliable, and up to date information and reporting services. The information produced will be used to inform business decisions up to strategic management level.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • To help inform decision making through access to insightful and informative reporting via SQL Reporting Services (SSRS) and PowerBI
  • To identify and exploit opportunities to use new, existing, and emerging technologies for the distribution and collection of information.
  • Liaise closely with Key Managers, contributing to business processes using systems/data and reporting
  • To advise staff on accessing information and to provide in-house training for staff in the use of information systems and other systems as appropriate
  • To support the on-going improvements to data systems and reporting to support staff in delivering their roles
  • An awareness of developments surrounding student information management and how to incorporate into reporting
