Salary : £25,706 - £37,261 Dependant on experience and qualifications 

Location: Palmer's Campus, Grays, Essex (Occasional travel to Seevic Campus)

Hours: 22.5 hours per week, 52 weeks

Contract: Permanent

JOB OVERVIEW

To provide teaching of the highest quality and participate significantly in the academic and pastoral work of the curriculum area and to the discussion of and adherence to policy and practice. 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree inn Chemistry.
  • Effective strategies to support working with level 1, 2 and 3 students.
  • Experience in teaching BTEC
  • An understanding of Safeguarding including Prevent and Keeping Children Safe in Education legislation will also be required.

THE RIGHT CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

  • Expertise inn the chosen area and knowledge of additional short courses/enrichment activities that will enhance the student experience. 
  • Knowledge of safe working practices in a laboratory setting.
  • Be capable of taking responsibility for multi functions involving students, resourcing and college events.
  • Be able to ensure the integrity and coherence of agreed systems of student care, monitoring and reporting, quality assurance and management information
