The Access to Higher Education Diploma is designed for people who have been out of education for some time or for those who left school without the qualifications needed to go straight to university.
It provides you with a good foundation and the skills needed for studying at university level, so you can be confident and well prepared when you go on to study a degree.
It is widely recognised by UK universities, and many actively encourage applications from Access to HE students. More than 20,000 Access to HE students apply for a degree each year and go on to study a wide range of subjects.

There are eight courses to choose from, including the Level 2 Pre-Access which helps you develop the skills needed to prepare for the Access to HE Diploma.

Above Average Pass Rates
96% pass rate for both 2019 and 2020 across our Access to HE Diplomas, with some achieving 100%.
High Grades
Our learners achieve above average high grades, equivalent to ABB at A-Level.
Progression
We have above average progression rates into university, 91%, with the vast majority of those who applied progressing to university in the year after completion.
Advanced Learner Loan
You may be eligible for an Advanced Learner Loan, which is written off by the Government once you've finished your HE qualification. Your household income won’t be taken into account and you won’t have to pay anything back until you earn over £511 a week or £2,214 a month.
