Storm spring with success into the new term

Our Storm Sports Academy have excelled yet again in recent competition and are looking forward to an exciting term ahead. 

The teams have been dominating recent competitions with some outstanding results:

  • Men’s Rugby – won the AoC Sport Premier League Trophy and have qualified for the AoC Sport National Championships
  • Netball – through to the quarter-final of the AoC Sport Premier Cup as well as qualifying for the AoC Sport National Championships
  • Men’s Football – with two teams excelling, they are through to the quarter-finals of the AoC Sport Premier Cup and the semi-finals of the Essex Cup
  • Women’s Football – advanced to the semi-finals of the AoC Sport National Cup and have qualified for the AoC Sport National Championships.

Other teams and individuals that have qualified for the AoC Sport National Championships include Women’s Basketball, Women’s Cross-Country and Women’s Rugby.

This year the College will see 56 students compete in the largest annual student sporting event in Europe. Out of those 56, 42 girls will be competing after seeing them lead in recent competitions.

 

We are continually proud of the Storm Sports Academy which we run at the College. The students are always committed and the expertise of our staff shows in our achievement over the years. We are looking forward to yet another rewarding year with lots of big competitions to look forward too.
