Freedom of Information

The Freedom of Information Act 2000 provides public access to information held by public authorities.

Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 any member of staff, student or public can request information from the college which is not personal, commercially sensitive or comes within the exemptions to the Act.

Anyone can request information, although a fee may be charged for the information provided; the amount will depend on the size and complexity of the request.

Information will be withheld where it contains personal information, information that may damage the commercial interests of the School, information that may threaten the health or safety of specific individuals, or information that comes within the other exemptions to the Freedom of Information Act 2000.
