Curriculum Administrator

Having just gone through an exciting period of growth, the College is seeking to appoint a self-motivated individual for the post of Curriculum Administrator.

Location: Palmer's Campus, Grays, Essex

Hours: Full-time (41 weeks, Term Time Only) 8:30 - 4:30 Mon - Fri

Salary: £18,477 per annum FTE, inclusive of fringe allowance. Pro Rata £16,616 per annum, 41 weeks term time only.

Having just gone through an exciting period of growth, the College is seeking to appoint a self-motivated individual for the post of Curriculum Administrator.

This post is to provide an effective and efficient level of administrative support, demonstrated and delivered by working collaboratively and flexibly within the central Administration function.

The post requires someone with recent experience of working in a fast paced office environment undertaking a busy role so needs a “can do” attitude. You will require a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and how to apply if effectively, specifically Word and Powerpoint.

You will need the ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team where you can demonstrate an effective contribution. You must also have the ability to handle difficult situations with sensitivity and discretion.

Additionally, you will have good communication skills and be able to prioritise your work independently, using your own initiative as appropriate. You will work autonomously and be accountable for your work.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Comprehensive experience of administration (including Mircrosoft)
  • The ability to work at pace and multi-task
  • A logical approach to work, coupled with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Education to a minimum of Level 2 (or equivalent) in Maths and English
  • Previously managed situations tactfully with diplomacy
