Salary: FTE £22,511 per annum

The post holder will promote the USP College work experience programme and will be responsible for identifying prospective work placement opportunities through initiating and developing relationships with local businesses and organisations. The post holder will be required to support the College students through the work experience process and provide group presentations and 1:1 advice/support along with the administration of the work placement process including undertaking work placement health and safety checks (training will be provided).
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, IT skills (MS Word, Excel and Outlook), with the ability to work accurately. A confident and professional approach when dealing with students, staff and outside organisations is required.
Although this post is based at the Seevic, Benfleet Campus there may be occasions for travel to the Grays Campus including for training or other College events. A full clean driving licence, access to own vehicle and willingness to travel to surrounding areas is required.
An understanding of Safeguarding including Prevent and Keeping Children Safe in Education legislation will also be required.
