Hours: Full-time, 32.5hrs (38 Weeks)
Salary: £12,087 pro rata, (full time equivalent £16,547)
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for the post of Front of house Catering Team Leader.
This will be an exciting post which will involve assisting the Catering Manager in all areas of the catering department and deputising for the Catering Manager where appropriate.
The post holder will lead the Catering Assistants to operate and maintain the highest levels of efficient, hygienic, safe and reliable service, whilst supporting the Catering Manager in delivering FOH team training as required.
You will be responsible for planning, organising and discussing work roles and responsibilities with team members, with an emphasis on customer care, marketing and team objectives.
The successful candidate
The post requires someone who will be innovative in approach, passionate about the needs of students and a motivational leader. You will have recently acted in the capacity of managing a team for 1-2 years. Confident with cash handling and EPOS till operation.
Additionally, you will ideally have completed minimum level 2 basic Food safety qualification and have a good all round education. You will need the skill and ability to work in a busy team environment, be confident to handle customer concerns in a professional and efficient manner as they arise. You must be a good team player with the ability to communicate professionally with the Kitchen team leader, to ensure all food service is provided and served efficiently.
You will need to be able to raise and place orders as required and have a sound working knowledge of stock ordering and rotation.
