Teacher of Health and Social Care (Maternity Cover)

We would like to appoint an enthusiastic Teacher of Health & Social Care wishing to join a strong, dynamic, supportive and successful department to contribute to the excellent learning environment we provide for our students.

Location: Seevic Campus (Benfleet)

Hours: Full-time, 37hrs (24 hours contact teaching)

Salary: £21,900 - £32,052 per annum.

A well-established Health, Social care and Early Years curriculum area within USP College are seeking a Health, Social Care Teacher with experience of delivering at Level 1, 2 and 3.   

Candidates will have experience teaching Health, Social Care curriculum and be highly competent to ensure the effective teaching and learning of students.

To be considered, you will ideally have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (or working towards)
  • Experience teaching in Health, Social care and Early Years curriculum
  • Behavioural management skills
  • Willingness to promote learning
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to work
  • Positive outlook
  • Innovative and resourceful teaching methods
  • Relevant Degree

You will be an enthusiastic individual looking to make a real difference to the teaching and learning experience provided at USP College. Delivering a supportive, immersive and creative learning environment with the ability and desire to motivate students to achieve the highest possible learning outcomes is essential. 

Support will be provided in order for the successful candidate to develop their own teaching and learning style and the opportunity to work within a team that share ideas, are forward thinking and are willing to try out new approaches to teaching, learning and assessment.
