Job Details

To lead on the planning and implementation of marketing outreach work within schools, while assisting 
the marketing team with a range of activities such as events and the creation and maintenance of 
marketing assets and projects to meet student recruitment objectives.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead schools outreach and community engagement to build relationships, raise brand visibility, and support student recruitment efforts in Essex.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to engage staff as strategic ambassadors through internal communications campaigns.

  • Maintain detailed records of outreach activities for easy sharing with senior leadership.

  • Design and produce publicity materials and visual assets to support publications, events, and recruitment efforts within set deadlines.

  • Ensure brand consistency across all communications, social media, and published materials.

  • Coordinate marketing operations with internal teams, stakeholders, and learners to meet promotional goals and targets.

  • Contribute creative ideas and conduct market research to engage target audiences and stay informed about local education trends.

  • Support promotional evaluation efforts and provide reports to aid in strategy and decision-making.

  • Provide administrative and logistical support to the Marketing Team, including handling digital assets like photos and videos.

  • Stay current with curriculum changes, social media trends, and school market developments to keep marketing approaches informed and effective.

The right candidate will have:

  • A marketing, design, public relations or journalism qualification or equivalent experience
  • 2-3 years experience in a marketing environment, preferably involved in engagement with external partners
  • Comfortable communicating with large groups and individually with individuals of differing seniority
  • Familiarity with digital photography e.g. taking photographs for media/publications
  • A high level of computer literacy
  • Self-motivated, energetic and proactive approach which reflects a positive, enthusiastic, resilient and committed attitude.
  • Drivers Licence and access to own vehicle
