STEM Industry Day Insights with MedTech Staff

Some of our Medical Technologies and Life Sciences staff at USP College visited SYNLAB Laboratory Services, Pathology First in Basildon on Industry Skills Day. The day is aimed at strengthening connections between education and industry.
Members of our STEM team praised the team at SYNLAB for their warm welcome and the detailed insight into their lab operations. “We had a great Industry Insights Day being shown around your different labs and all the processes involved with your site. You blew us away with all that you shared."
They were especially impressed by the advanced technology used to analyse critical samples, adding that they were "very jealous of all your wonderful tech.”
A highlight was the opportunity to collaborate with professionals across disciplines to create student-focused projects that bring biomedicine to life in the classroom. “The best part of the day was sitting down together as cross-discipline professionals to develop some student-focused projects."
