USP College Celebrates the Class of 2025 at Prestigious Higher Education Graduation Ceremony

USP College proudly celebrated its Higher Education Class of 2025 on Wednesday 14 January 2026, transforming the Immersive Theatre into a lively space filled with applause, excitement and pride.
Families, friends, governors and staff gathered to honour graduates from across six Higher Education programmes: HND Games Development Level 5, Games Art (Top‑Up) BA (Hons), Early Years Foundation Degree Level 5, Education Studies & Early Years (Top‑Up) BA (Hons), Sport & Exercise Performance (Education Studies) BSc (Hons) and the Education & Training Diploma Level 5.
CEO Dan Pearson opened the ceremony with heartfelt praise, telling graduates, “On behalf of the Principal, Vice Principal and myself, we are incredibly proud of all you’ve achieved. USP College will always be part of your story, a foundation for the bright future ahead.”
Student speeches offered some of the most emotional moments of the evening. Her words highlighted the perseverance, self‑belief and community spirit that shaped her time at USP College.
“With the support of my tutors and classmates, I learned to overcome how I was feeling and gain knowledge and understanding and believed in myself to achieve what I have achieved today.”
Head of Higher Education, Megan Brophy, MCed the evening, guiding the audience through the procession, speeches and prize presentations. The atmosphere was buzzing with celebration as guests enjoyed delicious canapés, glasses of prosecco and a lively 360‑degree photo booth, adding a vibrant, social feel to the night.
During the closing address, Deputy Mayor of Castle Point, Cllr Kate Knott, delivered a powerful message of encouragement. Her reflection on resilience and lifelong learning resonated deeply with the audience.
What will serve you well is the ability to keep learning, to adapt when things change, and to take responsibility for the choices you make.”
