USP College Athletes Ready for AoC Sport National Championships

USP College Storm Academy is proud to announce that its athletes are heading back to the AoC Sport National Championships, the UK’s biggest college sporting event. Taking place at the University of Nottingham from 17–19 April, the Championships bring together over 1,300 student athletes from across the country to compete for regional pride and national titles.

Rugby Sevens – Defending Champions

Our men’s rugby squad returns as reigning National Champions after an incredible gold medal win last year. The team dominated the competition in 2025 and is determined to defend their title, showcasing the strength and skill that Storm Academy rugby is known for.

Pan-Disability Football – Aiming Higher

The PAN football team made a strong debut last year, earning a bronze medal. This year, they’re aiming even higher. Their success reflects USP College’s commitment to inclusivity and providing competitive opportunities for all athletes.

Tennis – Kyla Eves Targets a Medal

Kyla Eves is back for her second successive Championships after finishing 4th nationally in 2025. She enters the tournament in outstanding form, having dominated the regional qualifiers and dropping just one game across five matches with emphatic scorelines: 6-1, 6-0, 6-0, 6-0, 6-0.
With that level of performance, Kyla is a strong contender for a podium finish.

We are so proud to be taking our Rugby and PAN Football teams back to the National Championships this year. What an amazing effort.
