USP College Careers Fair 2024
- Posted 07 Mar 2024
An impressive list of employers attended including Essex Police, Ryanair, University of Essex, JTL Engineering and NHS to name but a few.
This year, the event coincided with National Careers Week (4-8 March) – a one week celebration and focus on careers and guidance across the UK to support young people develop awareness and excitement about their future pathways.
It’s such an important few days for us and a lot of work to get the students and employers all together. It’s rewarding to see the students being exposed to all the options and opportunities available to them for their next steps whether it’s a direct route into work through apprenticeships or on to higher education. USP College is here to support their progression.
USP College prides itself on its strong links with industry and partnerships with businesses to support students in developing employability skills alongside their subject area of study. The Careers Fairs are just one of the ways we create invaluable opportunities for our students to engage with potential employers and gain insights into various career paths.
Other ways include work experience, networking events, days out in industry, dedicated CPD Days with insight talks from employers, and opportunities to work on Live Brief Projects so students can leave college with a portfolio of work and knowledge to give them the edge.
USP College would like to thank all the businesses that joined us on the day. Feedback from employers that have worked with us in the past:
