USP College Shortlisted for Two Prestigious Awards

USP College is proud to announce that we have been shortlisted for two categories in the Good for Me Good for FE Awards 2025, which celebrate the incredible social impact created by colleges across the country.

The awards, now in their third year, recognise outstanding volunteering and fundraising efforts that generate significant social value within communities. This year’s finalists were announced at the Association of Colleges Annual Conference, and winners will be revealed at a special ceremony at the House of Lords on 5 December.

USP College has been recognised in the following categories:

  • Volunteering Accreditation Excellence Award
This nomination highlights our successful delivery of the Change Maker qualification pilot, which equips students with valuable employability skills through volunteering and social action.

  • Inspirational Role Model of the Year
Our Student Engagement Manager, Kerry Amos, (pictured) has been shortlisted for her exceptional leadership and commitment to driving positive change and supporting students to develop key transferable skills.

These nominations reflect USP College’s dedication to creating opportunities that go beyond the classroom, empowering students to make a real difference in their communities while preparing for future careers.

We are incredibly proud of our staff and students for their hard work and commitment to social action. Being recognised on a national stage reinforces our mission to be career-focused, community-driven, and innovative in education.
