The Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship is designed for individuals who want to develop the skills, knowledge and behaviours needed to support the smooth and efficient running of modern organisations. Suitable for both new and existing employees, the programme combines workplace learning with structured training, enabling apprentices to develop highly transferable business administration skills that can be applied across the public, private and voluntary sectors.
Apprentices will learn how to support business operations, communicate effectively with stakeholders, manage information and contribute to organisational success while earning a salary and gaining valuable workplace experience.
The Business Administrator Apprenticeship develops a broad range of professional and technical skills required in administrative and business support roles.
Throughout the programme, apprentices will develop an understanding of:
Apprentices will learn how to develop, implement, maintain and improve administrative processes and services while supporting a range of business functions. They will build confidence in using business systems, analysing information, managing workloads and communicating professionally with colleagues, customers and stakeholders.

Study Mode: Apprenticeship (Work-based Learning)
Duration: Typically 18 months, plus End-Point Assessment
Start Date: Rolling enrolment throughout the year.
Location: Workplace and Online
Online learning: 1 day per week
Training will be delivered through a combination of workplace learning, taught sessions, one-to-one reviews, independent study and employer-supported development activities.
Apprentices will complete off-the-job training in line with apprenticeship funding and assessment requirements.
USP College uses Pearson as the End-Point Assessment Organisation (EPAO) for this apprenticeship.
At the end of the programme, apprentices will complete an independent End-Point Assessment consisting of:
The End-Point Assessment is designed to enable apprentices to demonstrate the knowledge, skills and behaviours developed throughout their apprenticeship and achieve an overall grade of Pass or Distinction.
Apprentices leave the programme with recognised industry credentials, valuable workplace experience and the professional confidence needed to progress their careers.
There are typically no course fees for the apprentice.
For employers, the cost of training and assessment is usually met through the Government's apprenticeship funding system, subject to eligibility and funding rules in place at the time of enrolment.
USP College's Apprenticeship Team will work closely with employers to confirm funding eligibility, explain any employer contributions and support the enrolment process.
