Your day starts with your course tutor and new classmates. You'll get a feel for what your course actually looks like, see the facilities and make sure everything is the right fit for you. A-Level students will spend time across all three of their subjects.
There's also a free period built into the day - time to grab lunch, explore the campus and decompress.

We know exams are stressful. Welcome Day is designed to feel like the start of summer, not the end of term.
Outside your tutor sessions you'll find:

To get an invite to our Welcome Day events, all you have to do is apply by May 30. If you've already applied, you're already part of the Applicant Club and will receive your official invite by email.
Open to applicants interested in studying with us from September 2026. Spots are limited so please don't wait - secure your place!

Welcome Days at USP College are your first taste of college life! Meet your course mates and tutors, sample the course you’ve applied for and get used to your chosen campus. We’ll have plenty of fun activities for you to take part in and prizes to be won!
Check your emails for your invitation and make sure you RSVP in advance!
Our Welcome Day events are scheduled to last from 9am – 2pm.
If you can’t make it for the full day, it’s important you still attend.
Your invite will have all the details of your Welcome Day on – You will be invited to attend the campus you’ve applied for.
No, our Welcome Days are for young people looking to study with us only. You can bring a friend if you like – just let us know when you RSVP.
At USP, you have the freedom to express yourself through what you wear! Come in whatever you’re comfortable in – as long as it’s appropriate for a College setting.
Our on-site Starbucks and canteen will be open all day, so there are plenty of options for food and drink!

Don't panic - your application is still safe! We want to make sure you can make both Welcome Day and your Prom, so if you need to leave a little earlier that's fine. If you need to, you can leave from 12pm.
