Job Overview:

In your role as HR Administrator, you will play a vital role in assisting with various administrative tasks within our Human Resources (HR) department. Your responsibilities will encompass offering top-notch administrative support to the HR Team, which includes the Recruitment Business Partner and the Director of HR. This presents an exciting opportunity for a skilled administrator to further enhance their professional development in a dynamic and bustling HR environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

As an HR professional you will have exacting standards and a keen eye for detail. This will be demonstrated by managing effectively and efficiently a varied workload supporting the daily HR and recruitment function. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Maintaining electronic and paper-based HR records
  • Collecting data to compile HR statistics for the Director of HR e.g., staff turnover, sickness, equality & diversity of the workforce, and general staffing.
  • Issuing contracts of employment and any other contractual documentation
  • Assisting the Recruitment Business Partner with administering the recruitment process e.g., placing adverts, help with co-ordinating interviews.
  • Completing pre-employment checks where required including ensuring Right to Work in the UK and DBS compliance.
  • Managing the HR email inboxes, responding to both internal and external enquiries
  • Administrative support will include producing letters, utilising mail merge, database entry & maintenance, photocopying, filing etc.
  • Assisting the Recruitment Business Partner with management of recruitment advertising

Job Requirements:

  • To succeed and progress in this role you will need to demonstrate previous experience within a HR administrative / support role.
  • Able to create, manipulate and present information in forms, tables, and spreadsheets.
  • Able to deliver effective results, meeting deadlines and targets in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • A good level of efficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • This role will be cross-campus (Seevic, Palmers and Xtend). A full driving licence and access to own vehicle will be required.
  • An understanding of Safeguarding including Prevent and Keeping Children Safe in Education legislation will also be required.
