Minimum expectations for students during online distance learning
Every student must:
- Think ahead each day in case of closure - have you got everything you need? e.g. access to a textbook, VLE, past papers, stationary, course folders etc
- Ensure they have provided up-to-date email addressed to their subject teachers (hard copy)
- Confirm with their subject teachers they are able to access remotely the VLE and Pro Monitor
- Use the VLE pages to access resources and assessments
- Maintain regular email communication with their subject teachers on ‘normal’ lesson day (to confirm resources can be accessed, to submit completed work, to ask questions if appropriate)
- Follow timetable for the week – complete work set on the day when your lesson is due to occur and email back to teacher/upload to VLE
- Ensure all homework and in class tasks are completed and either uploaded via VLE (Moodle) or emailed to subject teacher
