Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

USP College students welcome you to a world of pure imagination!

Playing to a packed theatre, BTEC Performing Arts students from USP College, Seevic Campus completed their first show since joining the College in September.

The show ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’ based on the beloved Roald Dahl tale, followed young Charlie Bucket (played by Dylan Anderson, 16, from Basildon) and his grandma Josephine (played by Aimee Rust, 16, from Benfleet) as they join a small group of Golden Ticket winners to tour the magical and mysterious factory of candy maker Willy Wonka (played by Keir Harding, 17, from Westcliff-on-Sea).

Rebecca Lynch, Performing Arts teacher and one of the Directors of the production said: “The students have worked extremely hard, from learning lines, to designing costumes, making props and the set. We are incredibly proud of the commitment and dedication the students have shown during rehearsals leading up to the performance.”
