Students from USP College celebrate positive Level 3 results

Students celebrate positive A-Level results at USP College with pass rate over 96%

Hundreds of students from USP College are celebrating passing their A-Levels today, with 96.1% of A-Level students passing. The 2023 USP College A Levels cohort also boasts an 91% achievement rate, up from 86.7% in 2022.

The College also saw improvement in Level 3 Vocational results, with a 91.5% pass rate, up from 86.7% in 2022.

19 A-Level courses achieved a 100% pass rate across the USP College campuses in Benfleet and Grays. These included Media Studies, Law, Business, History, English Language & Literature, Sociology and others.

Essex-based USP College, which stands for Unified Seevic Palmer’s, launched its Career-Focused Learning Strategy in 2020 to ensure students leave College with the knowledge and skills they need to stand out for high-end careers in a wide range of career paths.

While studying at USP College, students have the opportunity to participate in professional development days, where sessions are led by industry experts in their chosen career sector. They can also learn career-specific skills that aren’t covered in the course curriculum, and gain broader employability and study skills to help them become a more attractive university or job applicant. Students also visit local employers to gain real work experience as part of these professional development days.

They are also able to join career-sector specific College Companies, which simulate day-to-day life in the work environment and allow students to work on live briefs for local and national businesses.
