Results from the recently released National Student Survey (NSS) reveal that USP College ranked the No.1 face-to-face provider in Essex for student satisfaction.

Feedback was positive for the College with 100% of learners agreeing that ‘the skills I developed will be useful for my future career’. It didn’t stop there, with 91% also agreeing that ‘the course provided me with opportunities to apply what I have learnt’.

These results demonstrate the Colleges career-focused learning strategy, designed to provide the skills, qualifications and experience needed to stand out in the competitive job market.

The College was pleased with the results of the NSS, which is an annual survey that encourages final year Higher Education students to share their feedback.

Stuart Coussins, Quality and Curriculum Manager for Higher Education said, ‘This is another excellent year of results showing the value we, as a Further Education College, have in providing high-quality industry relevant Higher Education qualifications. These results are testament to the College ethos of individualised learning, small class sizes, and outstanding student support’.

‘With the demands of the last eighteen months being unprecedented, it is a timely reflection of the highly valued and outstanding work that the Higher Education teams provide to our students. I’m delighted that students have recognised staff efforts so positively in supporting their journey’.

The response rate was also impressive with 87% of learners completing the survey, 18% over the national average.

The College offers HNC/HNDs as well degrees. Working in partnership with the University of Hertfordshire and Writtle University College, they deliver a range of subjects, including BA (Hons) Education Studies & Early Years, BSc (Hons) Sport & Exercise Science (Education Studies) and new for September 2021 BSc (Hons) Animal Management
